The key to successful dental implant treatment is comprehensive planning.

During the  appointment, a qualified and experienced implant dentist reviews a patient’s medical history and carries out a thorough oral examination,  including gums and oral hygiene.

If a patient is a suitable dental implant candidate, a dental 3D Cone Beam CT (CBCT) scan is requested to give an accurate measurement of bone volumes – this helps determine a definitive treatment plan.

Our clinician will then go through the treatment plan options and answer any questions.  Afterwards the patient meets a treatment coordinator to discuss fees and appointment availability.  A formal treatment plan will follow within two working days.

For more complex treatment plans, a follow up appointment may be required for a review or impressions for diagnostic study models. The cost of any further investigations is explained to the patient.
